As we are all aware, the current Coronavirus pandemic has presented huge challenges over the last few months.  Nobody has been immune from the disruption and uncertainty.

How you contact us will be different at the moment.  This is to limit face-to-face contact whenever possible and help stop the spread of coronavirus.  Clinicians are currently triaging all patients over the telephone or by video consult to ensure the ongoing protection of patients and staff.

If we ask you to attend the surgery please ensure you wear a face covering.  Measures are in place to keep you safe from infection during your visit to the surgery. Please do not come to the surgery unless you have an appointment.

Please notify us upon your arrival for your appointment by telephone and either wait outside or in your vehicle until you are advised that it is appropriate to enter the building.

If you are collecting a prescription, please only enter the first section of the building, wear a face covering and adhere to social distancing rules.  If you wish to speak with reception then please telephone them instead of popping into the reception area.

The situation is fluid and every day brings new challenges.  We are hugely grateful for the support, understanding and patience that you have shown.

Thank you for helping to keep everyone safe.

FLU VACCINES

We are currently in the process of booking patients into our flu vaccination clinics.  We have received an unprecedented demand for flu vaccinations this year and appreciate your patience.  If you have been shielding or have a health condition that puts you at risk of flu then we will be in contact with you, however, you are also welcome to telephone us to book an appointment.

Please note that people in the 50-64-year old age group will not be vaccinated until late November/December, providing there is sufficient vaccine, and no appointments will be offered for this age group until then. This is to ensure that those who are most at risk are vaccinated first. If you are 50-64 and you are in one of the other groups which is eligible for the flu vaccination, for example you have a health condition which puts you at risk from the flu, you will be invited earlier.

We have an open list and are welcoming new patients to register and be part of the practice.
