Coronavirus Vaccination

We would like to reassure you that the local practices, including ourselves, as well as Cambridgeshire & Peterborough CCG, are working as hard as we can to make the coronavirus vaccine available to the appropriate risk groups as soon as we can. Unfortunately it is not possible for the vaccine to be made available to all surgeries at the same time, but we do hope to have the vaccine available in the next few weeks.

As per the NHS England advice please do not contact us about the vaccine at the moment, you will be contacted as soon as it is possible to arrange your vaccination.

You can help us by emailing your mobile phone number along with your name, date of birth, address and agreement for us to communicate via text message to hhcdata.huntersway@nhs.net. We anticipate that this will facilitate being able to make an appointment for your vaccination at the appropriate time. Please be aware you will not receive a response to this email.

If you do not have a mobile phone then we will still make sure you are contacted.

We have read or received a number of comments related to the above but ask you to please bear with us and support us at this time, the situation is changing on a daily basis and rest assured we are keen to see that the coronavirus vaccination is offered to our patients as soon as we are able to.

We Are Open

As we are all aware, the current Coronavirus pandemic has presented huge challenges over the last few months.  Nobody has been immune from the disruption and uncertainty.

How you contact us will be different at the moment.  This is to limit face-to-face contact whenever possible and help stop the spread of coronavirus.  Clinicians are currently triaging all patients over the telephone or by video consult to ensure the ongoing protection of patients and staff.

If we ask you to attend the surgery please ensure you wear a face covering.  Measures are in place to keep you safe from infection during your visit to the surgery. Please do not come to the surgery unless you have an appointment.

Please notify us upon your arrival for your appointment by telephone and either wait outside or in your vehicle until you are advised that it is appropriate to enter the building.

If you are collecting a prescription, please only enter the first section of the building, wear a face covering and adhere to social distancing rules.  If you wish to speak with reception then please telephone them instead of popping into the reception area.

The situation is fluid and every day brings new challenges.  We are hugely grateful for the support, understanding and patience that you have shown.

Thank you for helping to keep everyone safe.
