The First Response Service, supporting people experiencing a Mental Health crisis.

The new service allows patients or carers to speak to specially-trained Mental Health staff who can provide advice, support, and signposting to other services. The service is available 24/7, 365 days a year.

The new service provides patients 24-hour, seven days a week, 365 days a year access to Mental Health care, advice and support.

To access the Service, call 111 and select the Mental Health option, you will be put through to a member of FRS who will speak to you and discuss your current mental health needs.

Support may involve telephone support or a face to face assessment and if appropriate referrals onto other Cambridge & Peterborough Foundation Trust services. FRS does not offer medication reviews.

*People in Wisbech may not have the Mental Health option, but can access the service via dialling 111. The call handler will then transfer them direct to the FRS (First Response Service) service.
